Afghan Presidential Election Polling Project – Vote Afghanistan In advance of the forthcoming Afghan Presidential election, planned for April 2014, Glevum Associates and our Afghan research partner AIRC are conducting three nationwide opinion surveys. The aim of these surveys is to learn more about voter preferences, voter participation trends, and attitudes towards the candidates. Each wave will survey a randomly selected, representative sample of at least 2,050 likely voters. Individually and collectively, the Glevum/AIRC team has extensive experience with nationwide surveys in Afghanistan, including prior to the 2009 Presidential elections. We employ a robust methodology that respects cultural and gender sensitivities and takes fully into account the challenges presented by the Afghanistan’s geography, weather, and transportation, communication and security issues.
